LIFTING HANDS IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

" Behold , bless ye the Lord , all ye servants of the Lord , which by night stand in the house of the Lord . Lift up your hands in the sanctuary , and bless the Lord . The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion . " [ Psalm 134 ] Praise should be an important part of a Christian’s life . How wonderful it is to be able to lift up one’s hands in God’s house , showing where all help comes , and where all the praise should be directed ! It is in order to lift redeemed hands in the house of God . If you have Jesus , you’ve got a good reason to lift your hands and head high ! The Lord should be lifted up in His house , and through the way we live each day as Christians . I want to lift my hands in the house of God , because of what Jesus has done !

How great it is to come into God’s house with a heart of joy and praise ! It’s contagious . Psalm 122 says : " I was glad when they said unto me , Let us go into the house of the Lord . " The Spirit can cause you to do some unusual things if you mind Him . He can cause you to raise your hands to God in praise . He isn’t going to make anyone praise Jesus , but what a joy it is to mind Him ! What a joy it is to lift up hands in God’s house ! I believe we are living in a time when we really need to praise God . It is no time to be ashamed and intimidated . Jesus has done a lot more than win a ball game . He deserves more praise than we could ever give ! Praise His sweet name ! Jesus is more than enough reason to lift hands in God’s house !

If you don’t know Jesus as your Saviour and Lord , you are truly missing out on the greatest experience anyone can have . He died just for you because He loved you so much . No one will ever been able to measure that love ! Believe right now that Jesus is God’s risen son . Confess it publicly , turning from sin . You’ll agree that Jesus is more than enough reason to lift hands in the house of God !
