HOMECOMING

Homecoming is time of the year when we come together and remember our loveones who have graduated this life, and entered into heaven it’s self.

Homecoming is also a time when we are reminded that we also will go in the same manner. It also reminds us of a great reunion with friends and loveones, that will never end.

We are reminded that we have receive a vast amount of encouragement and help from those who have modeled Jesus before us.

We are also reminded not to forget the path of the Righteousness, and the rewards that await God’s people at the end of our journey.

We can recall the sacrifices of our forefathers while laboring in the service of the Lord, and that the prize is for all those that finish the race.

When our loveones depart from us, they leave a big hole in our hearts and lives, that will not be filled until we are united again with them in heaven, the final dwelling place of the saints of all nations. Just think, a home that is built by the very hand of God, eternal in the heavens.

One of the important things that we can glean from those that have gone on before us is, patience in waiting for our turn to come, so that we don’t come behind in no gift. Whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with the Lord, and be a comfort one to another.
