THE PRICE OF FREEDOM

Thank God for the blessings of freedom . It is a precious gift from God . Freedom , however , doesn't come without a price . It needs to be safeguarded and cherished enough to be willing to make sacrifices for it's preservation , as Jesus would want . I want to express my appreciation to any veterans who may be reading this who have served honorably so I could have the freedom I am so blessed to enjoy today . If you know any veterans like that in your family or among your friends , you should be grateful to them for their service . I don't want to take my freedom for granted , for it is a special gift from God that I should thank Him for on a consistent basis . Do you thank God for freedom ? It is too precious to go unrecognized ! " Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above , and cometh down from the Father of lights , with whom is no variableness , neither shadow of turning . " [ James 1 : 17 ] Jesus payed the ultimate price for freedom when He died a sacrifice for sin . " ... God so loved the world , that he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish , but have everlasting life . " [ John 3 :16 ] Because of the precious blood that Jesus shed I have freedom from the bondage of sin ! As Jesus said in John 8 :32 : " And ye shall know the truth , and the truth shall make you free ." Only Jesus can set the sinner free ! Have you been set free from the bondage of sin by Jesus ? He payed the price so the sinner could be truly free ! Believe today that Jesus is God's risen son , if you don't know Him . Confess him publicly . You can praise the name of Jesus who payed the price for freedom !
