Mother’s Day This a day to honor Mom . A day to express our gratitude for the many years of service and sacrifice, that she has made for her children. Mother’s have always had a special place in the hearts of their children. They have more influence in a child’s life than any other person. No wonder it is said: " the hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world." and " the mother’s heart is the child’s schoolroom." Many of our prominent leaders, such George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and many others attribute all of their success to their mothers. It was Mom’s strength and optimism that has helped us through the difficult phases of life. There are no memories, that can compare to the memories of Mom. It was Mom that was always there, to comfort and drive away the fear in her child’s heart, with just her reassuring words, and the love that was in her touch. It was Mom that was there to wipe that fevered brow, and to take away all the hurt with just one gentle kiss. It was mom who rejoiced in our victories, and helped us through our defeats Mother’s has proven to be that trusted friend, when adversity takes the place of prosperity, and the dark clouds replace the sunshine in our lives, it is Mom that we turn to for understanding and encouragement. It was her special touch, that brought safety and comfort in our home. Mom’s love is unconditional, she teaches us the meaning of being faithful, even when we are unfaithful. Mom’s commitment to her children is unwavering. God has given mother’s a great responsibility, and honored them with one of the highest offices in the land. God details His requirements for a godly mother in His word. God knows that He can get into a child’s heart through it’s mother. God also knows that our homes and society will be greatly influenced by godly mothers. She has the opportunity to teach her children how to pray, and to trust Jesus, and to be an example of His redeeming love. Mom remember, that your greatest responsibility is to God first, then to your family. When the outline of God is followed, mothers will always be lifted up and honored in their homes and in society. "Happy Mother’s Day To All Of Our Mothers."
