Memorial Memories

Memory is a very precious gift from God . It permits us to relive special times in our lives . Through the gift of memory , we can remember loved ones who have passed from this life to be with the Lord . Their lives can still have a great impact as we remember their labor and dedication to the Lord . Such lives ought to be remembered , and memorialized . Good memories are something to be thankful for ! Praise be to God for the gift of memory !

I am glad God remembers . Every life that was lived for Jesus is recognized in His book . Their lives will forever be memorialized . According to Malachi 3 : 16 : " ... they that feared the Lord spake often one to another : and the Lord hearkened , and heard it , and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord , and that thought upon his name . " What beautiful words ! You see , God has a beautiful memorial of all the lives lived for Him , and everything truly done for Jesus is included in God’s great book . What a memorial God has ! Every deed done for Jesus out of a pure heart is important ! " Be not deceived ; God is not mocked : for whatsoever a man soweth , that shall he also reap . For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption ; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting . And let us not be weary in well doing : for in due season we shall reap , if we faint not . " [ Galatians 6 : 7- 9 ]

How do you want your life to be remembered ? There is no greater memorial that a person can leave , than a life lived for Christ ! Think about it . In eternity it won’t matter what kind of car you drove , or how much money you had . The only thing that will count is what you did with Jesus ! If you don’t know Him , please do something about it right now before it is too late . It is so simple ! Believe that Jesus is God’s risen son and ask Him to forgive you . Confess Jesus publicly . Your life will be a memorial of what Jesus can do !
