Wisdom May 21,2006 Brother Lonnie Francis The wisest person ever know among men was Solomon, and he acquired his wisdom from God. First Solomon confessed his inability to make even the smallest of decisions, he viewed himself as a child, not knowing how to go out or come in, or how to judge a great nation of people. When we confess our weakness to God, then He can take the weak things and make them strong Wisdom cries without, she makes know her voice in the public places. The eternal word is given in a manner that no one has and excuse for ignorance, of God's council. We are reminded that God sent Prophets and Apostils, to spread And not only were they ignored, but were persecuted and slain, even to His precious Son. who is the Power and Wisdom of God. Men's quest for wisdom ends with Christ, all earthly knowledge is irrelevant. Christ {Wisdom} is continually at the door of man's heart, and His ways are past finding out until He is invited in and they they are revealed through the Holy Spirit. Wisdom has it's own glory. and is more important than gold, silver, and rare jewels, for which some sell their soul to obtain. The wisdom of God can't be bought, but is given freely by God, to all those who ask. Wisdom is not slipped beneath the bed pillow at night, but is given to those who meditate and study God's Word. Then it must be received with trust, and applied to our lives. The sin of ignorance is not knowing, but it is knowledge can obtained and refusing to accept it. |
