Graduation

Each year about this time, we have children or grandchildren that are graduating, or we start getting invitations by mail or a phone call inviting us to a graduation of a family member or a friend.

When we were in grade school, we looked forward to graduating, and then graduating from high school and so on, always looking forward to better days ahead.

Today and every day there is an invitation going out to the whole world. This invitation doesn’t come in the mail or by phone. It comes in the way of the Holy Spirit.

(Re 22:17)And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Jesus is inviting us to a graduation that can only come by knowing Him as our personal savior.

This world that we live in is full of pain, sorrow, heartache, and most of all death, but thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ we have a day coming, a graduation day when the Lord Himself is coming to receive us unto Himself. In a land where theirs be no pain, or troubles, that last enemy called death will be destroyed.
