WHERE HELP COMES FROM

" I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills , from whence cometh my help . My help cometh from the Lord , which made heaven and earth . " [ Psalm 121 : 1-2 ] What beautiful and inspiring words from the king ! Our eyes should be on Him , not on our circumstances . Circumstances can change , but Jesus never changes . He is the rock that we can cling to in the raging storm . Jesus is the guiding hand of comfort and peace . Jesus said : " Let not your heart be troubled : ye believe in God , believe also in me . " [ John 14 : 1 ] I’m so glad I know where help comes from ! Put all your trust in Jesus , and He’ll never let you down . He is where help comes from !

Jesus doesn’t want His dear children to worry or fear as people who have no help . I know it is so easy to give in to these things , but as children of an awesome God , we need to remember where help comes from ! 2 Timothy 1 : 7 says : " For God hath not given us the spirit of fear ; but of power , and of love , and of a sound mind ." What a powerful statement ! Jesus wants us to live in victory , not in defeat . He wants us to know where true help from trouble comes . What a sad shape my life would be in if I stopped recognizing where help comes from . Whether problems seem big or small , Jesus wants us to turn them all over to Him . All problems that would concern me are just small things to Him ! 1 Peter 5 : 7 says : " Casting all your care upon him ; for he careth for you . " The writer knew where help came from !

Jesus is everything in my life . I know He’s where my help comes from . If you don’t have Him in your life you need His help more desperately than you know . Believe that Jesus is God’s risen son . Confess this publicly . He’ll save your soul and give you a brand new life !
