THE OVERFLOWING BLESSING

" Behold , how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity ! It is like the precious ointment upon the head , that ran down upon the beard , even Aaron’s beard : that went down to the skirts of his garments ; As the dew of Hermon , and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion : for there the Lord commanded the blessing , even life for evermore . " [ Psalm 133 ] What a blessing to have been able to witness the anointing of Aaron ! It wasn’t just the ointment that poured down , but the blessing of God overflowed into Aaron’s life ! There is nothing like the anointing from God . It is so sweet , and so powerful it is beyond description ! Jesus ’ blessing will overflow a life , and will so powerfully consume a person that it will flow out to other lives . The anointing can flow so swiftly and so effectively if it is not hindered ! Dear Christian , never depend on your abilities or past experience , but look to the anointing . Zerubbabel was told : " ... Not by might , nor by power , but by my spirit , saith the Lord of hosts . "[ Zachariah 4 : 6 ] That is still the formula for success today ! The anointing is an overflowing blessing from Jesus , who was anointed to bring salvation to the world .

There is no substitute for the anointing . A person can have a lot of knowledge of the Bible , but without the anointing they will never be the effective instrument that Jesus wants to use . Psalm 46 : 1 says : " God is our refuge and strength , a very present help in trouble . " In trouble the blessing will flow down if we will depend on God . It can flood our lives with joy . There is nothing that Satan can offer that can in anyway compare to the overwhelming anointing from Jesus ! It can make you cry tears of joy ! It can make you run ! It can make you shout for joy ! It is an overflowing blessing that I love to feel . It ‘s ran down my life , and I can feel it right now ! Nobody can bless like Jesus can !
