FAITHFUL FATHERS

What a great blessing faithful fathers are to their children . It is important to honor faithful mothers , but we should not neglect to recognize fathers who have been good examples to their children . In these times in which we live , it is so important that children are provided with good examples in their home . A father who truly loves the Lord , and teaches his children to follow Jesus is a precious gift that should not be taken for granted . God will honor such a man . His wife and children should let him know that they love him and appreciate his relationship with God . Faithful fathers can impact their children’s lives long after he is gone .

A faithful father is a teacher who guides his children in the right ways of the Lord . " Hear , ye children , the instruction of a father , and attend to know understanding ." [ Proverbs 4 :1 ]

The father should teach his children by his example as well as his words . " ...ye fathers , provoke not your children to wrath : but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord ." [ Ephesians 6 : 4 ] God intended for fathers to be the spiritual leaders of their households , providing inspiration for their families to follow the Lord . We should thank God for faithful fathers ! What price can you put on the contribution they can make to their children’s lives !

I am so thankful for my father who has been a great example of love and support . I am so blessed to have been adopted by my heavenly father , who loves me even more than any earthly father could ! If you don’t know Him , He wants to be your father too ! He sent His son that He loved so , to die for you ! " ...God so loved the world , that he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish , but have everlasting life" [John 3:16 ] Believe today , that Jesus is God’s risen son . Confess it publicly and Jesus will change your life . If you are a father , Jesus will make you a better one . He can help you be a faithful father !
