TRUSTING IN GOD

Question!! Are we fully trusting in the Lord?

In God’s word we find that it is full of assurance, and is filled with multitudes of promises.

We find that those that were close to Him, could look to Him as their refuge, and safe guard in the time of trouble. Now who doesn’t desire these things? There is no reason to fear, when trusting in God. We can cast all of our cares on Him.

Trust must to be developed, and it occurs as others prove to be faithful and trustworthy.

Many of us are already aware, that only God is the true object of trust. Friends will let you down, but you can trust God even with your soul. " Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee." (Ps.84:12) He is the God of our salvation.

Once man’s word was his bond, but not so anymore, we can have his word and signature, and still that’s not enough, sometimes it requires legal action to hold him to his word.

When we trust in the Lord, He will give us the desires of our heart.

" Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." (Pr.3:5-6)

Many people find it easier to trust in their own riches rather than in God, only to find that their resources have become a snare unto them, as it was with the rich young ruler in Luke 18:18-23. Since man can’t save himself by works or riches, it is useless to trust in them.

Trusting in material things can only bring sorrow, and no hope of anything that is lasting. In Him is everlasting strength, and the goodness of God.

Jesus said that is very hard for a person with riches to enter into heaven, because they are trusting in themselves and in their riches.

Many people today are thinking that riches will solve all of their problems, when in reality only a right relationship with God is the answer.

When man is right with God, he can trust Him completely. He realizes that he is nothing and that God is everything. Man is just as a young child, he dependent on God for life it’s self.

The God of heaven and earth, wants to be our source of security and our defense from our enemies.

Only God can be trusted to be faithful unto the end.
