God’s Declaration Of His Handiwork

July23, 2006  Bro. Lonnie Francis

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork." Ps. 19:1

God’s works are show forth in all of this universe, and His Word declares His love and concern for mankind..

In the beginning God created the heavens, earth, and sea, and by the light of the sun, moon, and stars, man is permitted to view their beauty.

At first everything was dark and void, then the Spirit of God moved upon them and separation began.

This is the condition of man without God. A possessor of emptiness and darkness. It’s a life without future or hope. Death is all around.

God continued to display His glory after He separated the heavens, from the earth, and the earth from the sea, by permitting man to see and enjoy His handiwork. When man takes notice he can see the majestic hand of God in everything that has life.

Everything that God created He pronounced it good, and after creating man, He gave him dominion over all that he created, and pronounced it very good.

Man is constantly trying to duplicate God’s creation, but only God can look into the darkness, and bring forth light. Only God can look into a deep dark hole, and fill it with substance and life. Only God can go to the graveyard, and speak to the dead, and they rise up, and take off their grave clothes, to walk in a new life.

It was God that lit up the universe with His glory. It was God that hung the sun, moon and the stars in there place, and gave each one their name. Everything in this universe is under the all seeing eye of God. Nothing happens that He doesn’t know about. God is all power, and all knowing. With His word He speaks worlds into existence, and when he breathes on men they are filled with Holy Ghost power.

Everything that God has made, gives Him praise, but man.

My prayer today is: "that God will be recognized, praised and loved for Who He is"
