THE SWEETEST VOICE

You may hear many wonderful voices in the world , such as the caring voice of a mother as she calls to her children . Perhaps you hear the instructive , helpful voice of a teacher , or coach . You may also notice the loving voice of a husband and wife .

There is a voice , however, that stands apart from all the rest . It is the awesome voice that created light where there was only darkness ! I ’m talking about the same voice that hung the earth in place, and gave names to all the stars ! Hebrews says : " Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God ..." When God speaks , things happen ! There is simply no more powerful , or sweeter voice , than the voice of God .

It seems so incredible to me that the same voice that created the universe , is the voice that spoke to my heart ! The sweetest voice told me that He loved me ! That same voice wants to speak to you . He has wrote a special message to everyone who wants to read it . It is called The Bible , which is the written record of what God has said . He will speak to you through this word ! God’ s got a lot of special things that He wants to share with you ! He has a special plan for your life . Jeremiah 29 : 11 says : " For I know the thoughts that I think toward you , saith the Lord , thoughts of peace , and not of evil , to give you an expected end ." God’s word tells us that He loves us so much ! He gave His best just for you . " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish , but have everlasting life " [ John 3 : 16 ] What beautiful words spoken by the mouth of the almighty God ! No one can speak like He can !

Not only does God speak to us through His word , but He also speaks to the heart . In the time we live in , it is easy to get so busy , and caught up with the voices in the world , that we cannot hear the sweetest voice . God knows just how to speak words of comfort , and hope to His children , but they must be ready to listen . There is no other voice I would rather hear than His ! If you do not know Jesus , He wants to speak peace and forgiveness to you . Romans 10 : 9 says: " That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus , and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead , thou shalt be saved ." If the voice of salvation is calling to you , please don’t let the sweetest voice be drowned out by the noise of the world !
