The Beauty Of The Lord

In Psalm 27:4 we find that David’s desire was to have a close communion and fellowship with the Lord. Should not this be the desire of all men? The God of all creation is enough to satisfy the desires of every soul.

God has a place for His people, a place of shelter and security. No wonder He is refereed to as a very present help in the time of trouble. His beauty can be seen, even in the storm, when we put our trust in Him.

Man tends to concentrate on the here and now, and, there is enormous beauty in all of God’s handy work, but remember it is all temporary, this world and all of its contents will melt with fervent heat, but the beauty and slender of God are eternal.

There is a saying that says: "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" while true concerning earthly things, but the beauty of God and His attributes are not to be compared to anything in this world.

The Psalmist tells us that there is strength and beauty in the sanctuary of God. {Ps.96:5,6} Just as it was with the Tabernacle in the wilderness, you had to go inside to see the beauty of it all. Today we must be in Christ to see the beauty inside.

Isaiah seen the Lord: on His throne, in His temple. He was high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple. His Shechaniah glory was all around, while the angel’s cried Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory. {Isa.6:2,3}

When we trust in the Lord, His beauty will never fade, nor will it disappoint, or lose it’s power. The most beautiful part of heaven is Jesus, God’s Son. He out shines anything else.
