A SWEET STILL PEACE

" Be still , and know that I am God : I will be exalted among the heathen , I will be exalted in the earth ." [ Psalm 46 : 10 ] What powerful words from an awesome God ! Though trouble surrounds you like a troubled sea , there’s true peace in Jesus Christ . Praise His sweet and glorious name ! Jesus can still the troubled soul with His sweet peace and comfort . His children can find comfort in the words : " God is our refuge and strength , a very present help in trouble . Therefore will not we fear , though the earth be removed , and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea ;"[ Psalm 46 : 1-2 ] Let your heart be still in the Lord , dear Christian , and put all your trust in His guiding hand . He can give you a sweet still peace !

In my personal life I’m so glad I have Jesus’ still peace . When I lay down at night I have no fear of what will happen . My life is in Jesus’ powerful hands . If I don’t get up in the morning , I Know I’ll be with the one I love most . In the morning when I rise , Jesus is right there with me ! He is my peace ! Jesus can still the most troubled soul with His sweet peace . Nothing compares to the peace of Christ !

Do you have Jesus’ sweet still peace in your life ? Isaiah 57: 20-21 says : " But the wicked are like the troubled sea , when it cannot rest , whose waters cast up mire and dirt . There is no peace saith my God , to the wicked ." There is no true peace without Jesus Christ . You can’t buy it or inherit it . It has to be received as a gift . If you don’t have Jesus’ peace in your life , believe that Jesus is God’s risen son . Confess this knowledge publicly . You can have the sweet still peace of Jesus Christ !
