THE PATHWAY OF LIFE

" In the way of righteousness is life ; and in the pathway thereof there is no death . "[ Proverbs 12 : 28 ] I’m walking along a narrow path through a land full of danger . It is a true path that leads to eternal life . This path has a name . Jesus said : "...I am the way , the truth , and the life ... " [ John 14 : 6 ] Jesus is the only true pathway to life . There can be no detours or alternate routes . I’m glad I’m not walking alone , for Jesus is with me , guiding my steps and giving me the strength I need . I’m so glad to be walking this holy pathway ! It will lead me home !

I don’t have to be afraid as I walk God’s pathway . He is my protection and help . "...God hath not given us the spirit of fear ; but of power , and of love , and of a sound mind . " [ 2 Timothy 1: 7 ] Because of Jesus I can have such sweet peace , though I’m in the midst of trouble and uncertainty . It’s the pathway of love , and it’s the path of peace !

I’m glad I’m walking the pathway of joy ! There is so much joy in serving Jesus . Christians shouldn’t go around with a sad outlook on life , when there is so much to be happy about in the Lord . Peter spoke of those who were on the pathway of joy , and said : " Whom having not seen , ye love ; in whom , though now ye see him not , yet believing , ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory : " [ 1 Peter 1:8 ] I don’t have anything to complain about because I’m on the pathway of joy ! I refuse to allow Satan to steal my joy . Thank God for the pathway of joy ! Praise God for the joy of salvation , He wants to pour into hearts that are saved !

What path are you following ? There are only two roads . Either you are following the pathway of life or the path of destruction . I’m so glad I got off the path of destruction , when Jesus put me on the pathway of life ! As long as I hold on to Jesus , spiritual death will never block my path . How can one get on this pathway of life ? Romans 10 : 9 says : " That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus , and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead , thou shalt be saved . " If you don’t know Jesus , you can exit the path of destruction today , and get on the path of peace , joy , and love . It’s the pathway of life !
