Living In God’s World

August 27, 2006 Bro. Lonnie Francis

Man is permitted to live in a world that God has created. A world where all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field belong to Him. Ps. 50:11 Let us think for just a moment;

"All things were spoken into existence by the Word of God."

How foolish man must appear in the eyes of an all powerful God, as he stands before crowds, and boast of his accomplishments.

In reality, all the inventions that man claims credit for, are only reproductions of God’s creations.

God doesn’t need man, but man sure needs God, and so does everything in His universe. Just think: He tells the sun and moon, where to stay, and when to shine. He named all the stars and planets of the cosmos, and they are right where He put them, and some no doubt will never be visible by the natural eye of man.

God is awesome, but He cares for the small things also. We are reminded that His eyes are even on the fowls of the air, they don’t sow and reap, yet the heavenly Father feeds them. So it is with the flowers of the fields, they don’t spin nor toil, because they are nurtured by the big hand of God. And their beauty is not to be compared, even to that of Solomon.

One of the many abilities of God that boggles the mind of man, is that He is self-sufficient, He needs nothing nor no one. So He says : "if He was hungry, He would not tell us, because the world is His, and the fullness thereof." Ps. 50:12

Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived, but even he admitted that he was unable to build a house big enough to contain God, since the heavens themselves could not contain Him. He is a God that sees all, knows all, and is everywhere, and that’s twenty four seven.

Although the heavens themselves cannot contain Him, He has reserved a place in every person’s heart, and He wants to live there, and He will, if He is invited in. Unlike Satan, God only goes where He is invited.
