The conclusion of our Lord=s earthly ministry is drawing near, and as He prepares to enter into Jerusalem, He will reveal himself as King, and suffer rejection from those that He came to save. Let us now fix our eyes and hearts on Jesus.

The people would not accepted Jesus as King, although they willingly cast their garments, and branches from the trees in the way, and shouted; A Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the Highest.@

All the city was moved as Jesus came into Jerusalem. He has been here before, but never attracting so much attention. They wanted Jesus to identify Himself, not as the Son of God, but as a prophet; Athis is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee!@

The first place Jesus went to visit in Jerusalem was the temple, and his first order of business, was to clean up God=s house, and restore it to a House of Prayer. The same holds true today, God=s order, must take preeminence over all else.

Jesus preformed a great healing service there in the temple to all that came, the lame, the blind, ect. The crowds continued to cry, Hosanna to the Son of David.@

Later in the week this same crowd that cried Hosanna, were found crying, ACrucify Him.@ as the smell of death fill the air.

Over two thousand years has past without much change in men=s heart.
