A BEAUTIFUL JOY

" Make a joyful noise unto the Lord , all ye lands . Serve the Lord with gladness : come before his presence with singing . " [ Psalm 100 : 1-2 ] What joy there is in serving the Lord ! It truly is an amazing and beautiful joy ! No wonder Nehemiah said : " ... the joy of the Lord is your strength . " [ Nehemiah 8 : 10 ] There is simply nothing like it , for it can’t even be described . You have to experience it for yourself . I am so glad I have such a wonderful joy , which flows from God’s sweet Spirit living in my heart ! Jesus is the only source of true peace and joy . He said : " The thief cometh not , but for to steal , and to kill , and to destroy : I am come that they might have life , and that they might have it more abundantly . " [ John 10 : 10 ] Jesus wants you to have a life full of His joy and abundance . It is a beautiful joy to know Jesus Christ !

It is a joy just to enter God’s house ! Psalm 122 : 1 says : " I was glad when they said unto me , Let us go into the house of the Lord . " Christians can be joyful at just the mention of attending God’s house ! What a beautiful joy . We shouldn’t go to church because we feel obligated , or because we are afraid of what others will say if we don’t attend . We should go because it is a joy and an awesome privilege to worship the king ! " Behold , bless ye the Lord , all ye servants of the Lord , which by night stand in the house of the Lord . Lift up your hands in the sanctuary , and bless the Lord . " [ Psalm 134 : 1-2 ] That’s what I call a beautiful joy !

Do you feel like something is missing in your life ? Relationships are a blessing , but they can’t bring you true joy . It’s nice to have money , but it can’t buy true joy . You can’t get it from a new car or home . It’s not on the shelf at any store . True joy is in a person , and His name is Jesus ! He can bring this beautiful joy into your life , if you don’t know Him ! Believe today , that Jesus is God’s risen son . Confess it publicly . Please don’t put it off . This joy is just too beautiful to miss ! Thank God for His beautiful joy !
