                                                     GOD’S GREAT WITNESS

    "The heavens declare the glory of God ; and the firmament sheweth his handywork . " [Psalm 19 : 1 ] What beautiful words that tell of God’s great witness He has left in His creation ! I’ve seen His beautiful work in the trees , and in the gentle breeze . The birds sing His praises , and declare His love . God is an awesome artist . He has signed His name on the canvas of the sky in big letters so everyone can see ! The beautiful colors He has put in the sky speak of His glory , and infinite creativity . How can a person not see God and His great love in His creation ?

     Have you ever looked into the night sky beholding the beautiful stars ? Jesus put each star in it’s place . He knows their number , and has given each one a name ! The Lord ... " telleth the number of the stars ; he calleth them all by their names ." [ Psalm 147 : 4 ] How wondrous is His creation ! " When I consider thy heavens , the work of thy fingers , the moon and the stars , which thou hast ordained ; What is man , that thou art mindful of him ? And the son of man , that thou visitest him ? [ Psalm 8 : 3- 4 ] God is so awesome , why would He even bother with man ? Because he loves each person so ! It’s a love so great that it’s beyond human comprehension . John 3 : 16 says : " ... God so loved the world , that he gave his only begotten Son , that whosoever believeth in him should not perish , but have everlasting life ." Jesus is God’s gift .

    You are more special to God than the stars or the animals . He created you to have a unique personality and purpose . Jesus had a special plan for your life even before you were born . Right now you are in His thoughts . " How precious also are thy thoughts unto me , O God ! How great is the sum of them ! If I should count them , they are more in number than the sand : when I awake , I am still with thee ." [ Psalm 139 : 17-18 ] Give your heart to Jesus today , if you do not know Him . Believe that Jesus is God’s risen son . Confess Him publicly today . Jesus will give you a new life ! You’ll be able to look at His awesome creation through different eyes ! Praise Jesus for His great witness !
