SPRINGTIME WITH JESUS

" To every thing there is a season , and a time to every purpose under the heaven : A time to be born , and a time to die ; a time to plant , and a time to pluck up that which is planted ; " [ Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 ] God is the author of the seasons . He made each one special and unique . Each season has it’s purpose . " The heavens declare the glory of God ..." [ Psalm 19 : 1 ]

Spring is a special season to me , personally . There’s nothing like springtime with Jesus !

It is a beautiful time to see the work , and creativity of an awesome God !

Spring reminds me of the resurrection of my Lord Jesus from death . " I am the rose of Sharon , and the lily of the valleys ." [ Song Of Solomon 2 :1 ] Jesus is God’s wondrous spring flower ! Like a beautiful flower , He bloomed even from the grave , which could not stop Him ! Christians can celebrate the resurrection every day , but spring is a special reminder that Jesus lives ! Beautiful spring flowers and trees are like notes from God proclaiming that my Jesus lives ! He is the one who gave life to each one . It is so easy to take for granted the beauty that God places throughout the world . He writes his messages of love in the springtime , and throughout the year for those who will take the time to read them .

Spring also speaks to me of renewal . Jesus came into the world to bring new life . He said : " The thief cometh not , but for to steal , and to kill , and to destroy : I am come that they might have life , and that they might have it more abundantly ." [ John 10 : 10 ] Jesus brought springtime to my heart ! I was in the cold dark winter of death . The icy drifts of sin passed over me . I couldn’t feel the warmth of the s-o-n until the warm rays of Jesus light melted my heart . Joy bloomed in my life ! Peace grew like spring flowers ! The beautiful river of God’s Holy Spirit , flowed through my heart , and renewed my life ! Today, I am still experiencing springtime in my life , because Jesus shines in my heart ! HE is my spring , and He is the joy of my heart !
