THE POWER OF PRAISE

What joy and blessing can be found in praising an awesome God ! God wants His people to praise Him. Jesus is so worthy of all praise ! Psalm 22:3 said of God : " But thou art holy , O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel . "Since Jesus is in the praises of His dear children , what power there is in praise ! Oh how I love to praise my sweet Lord ! Praise Jesus for who HE is !

Dear Christian , don’t you want your day to start out right ? Start the new day with praise and thanksgiving for another day to live for Jesus . It will help you have a great attitude throughout the day . " O God , thou art my God ; early will I seek thee ..." [ Psalm 63: 1 ] My faithful Lord is the first one I want to talk to in the morning , and the last one I want to call on at night . What a wonderful way to end the waking hours ! " I will both lay me down in peace , and sleep : for thou , Lord , only makest me dwell in safety . " [ Psalm 4: 8 ] I love those words !

As Christians we’ve got a choice during times of adversity , which can so quickly come our way . We can complain , feeling sorry for ourselves , or we can praise God , despite our circumstances . Though you’re feeling really bad , if you will start praising Jesus , He can make you feel a lot better ! Praise is an enemy to sorrow and fear . Satan doesn’t want you and me to praise God . Jesus wants our lives to glisten with praise and thanksgiving .

If you don’t know Jesus Christ , you can’t even imagine the joy He can put in your life !
